The Chambers' goal has always been, and continues to be, excellent service to our members. The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce's affiliate network of local chambers of commerce capitalizes on local efforts and provides opportunity for participation on a regional level. While affiliate chambers continue to offer localized programming and initiatives, we are collectively positioning ourselves to retain and expand these benefits beyond our local community borders.

Business issues don't stop at our city limits, which is why a regional presence has proven to be successful for chambers in other cities, such as Austin, Texas, Charlotte, N.C., and Des Moines, Iowa.

The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1881, has been focused on public policy issues and business-based programming and services. Its membership consists of more than 1800 member locations from throughout the metropolitan area. The strong affiliate chamber structure compliments the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce's efforts and provide enhanced member benefits and a stronger voice on public policy issues.

There is strength in numbers. The network of affiliate chambers of commerce creates a stronger voice at the legislature and undoubtedly brings opportunity and prosperity to members in all communities represented.
