The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its 2nd annual Greening Your Business Expo presented by Xcel Energy . This is an opportunity to reach business decision makers who are interested in learning about sustainable products and services for the workplace. In partnership with the City of Minneapolis and Hennepin County, this after-hours "B-2-B focused" expo will also feature the new icon in sustainable building design, Target Field.
Location: Target Field ~ Legends Club ~ Minneapolis, Minnesota
Time: Set-up from 1 - 4 p.m. Doors open from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Short program at 4:45 p.m.
Exhibit Space: 8 ft x 2.5 ft table with short linen, 2 folding chairs, one vehicle parking pass and participant list
Chamber Member* $250 w/o electricity, add $75 for electricity (limited quantities)
Non-Member $500 w/o electricity, add $75 for electricity (limited quantities)
(NEW) * Discount applies to a member of any Chamber of Commerce or partnering organization - US Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Minnesota Environmental Initiative (MEI). An additional 20% off is available for chamber members exhibiting at 2009 Greening Your Business Expo.
Cash bar and snacks will be available to participants. Internet service may be available to exhibitors for additional charge. Contact Chamber for additional details.
Criteria for Green Products / Services:
Your application is subject to committee review and an exhibitor selection process. The committee will focus on the following criteria:
• Applicable to workplace, office and industrial uses
• Meets energy efficiency / renewable energy standards
• Product made from recycled materials
• Materials are less toxic and/or plant-based
• Reduces waste
• Organic (but not certified)
• Certified (by USDA Organic; Energy Star; Fair Trade; FSC; Food Alliance; LEED; Green-e, other)
• Promotes sustainable values in the workplace
• Conserves or protects water and/or air

Your application is subject to committee review. Exhibitor selections will be based on 1) merit of green business/service/product in the workplace 2) available space, 3) variation of products/services. Priority is given to members of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce and its affiliates.
