2015 Emerging Leader of the Year
The DRIVE Emerging Leaders board named Ben Hering of Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union the 2015 Emerging Leader of the Year. This award is given to individuals who embody the qualities of a great leader and work to fulfill the goals of DRIVE by promoting the Twin Cities as a great place in which to live and work.
Chamber Community Connections
Chamber Community Connections brings together Chamber member volunteers with non-profits who could use a helping hand. Each month, we provide a volunteer opportunity designed to fit into busy schedules. Participants learn about a great organization and make a difference in our communities. Second Harvest Heartland is one of the nation’s largest, most efficient and most innovative food banks. In 2013, we delivered more than 65 million meals to nearly 1,000 food shelves, pantries and other agency partner programs serving 59 counties in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
