DRIVE – Developing & Retaining Individuals with Vision & Energy – is a group for young professionals in the Twin Cities region. Designed for those under the age of 40, DRIVE provides networking and leadership growth opportunities for individuals from both small and large businesses as well as the non-profit sector. The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce created this program as part of its effort to support region’s workforce by encouraging its future leaders to be engaged corporate citizens.
The group hosts Monthly Roundtables and social events on a quarterly basis. At the roundtables, participants gather to discuss topics that influence businesses and the greater community like philanthropy, health care, the economy, and business ethics. Social events include happy hour networking nights, lawn bowling at Brit’s Pub, and volunteer events with the United Way.
