Emerging Leaders
Overview
Emerging Leaders is a young professionals group whose purpose is to assist in developing and increasing awareness of the young professionals in our marketplace. We do this around quarterly social events, roundtables, and philanthropy.
Becoming involved in Emerging Leaders is a way for someone new to the area or someone who has been here forever to get to know their peers and to become more involved in the young professional community.
Emerging Leaders Events
Emerging Leaders events are opportunities to network in a fun, casual way. The Emerging Leaders typically hold four or five social and forum events per year. They are held at places like the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Canterbury Park, The Minneapolis Club and the Mill City Museum. Each event is different and draws a sizeable group of professionals from varying companies and organizations.
Monthy Roundtables
Just in case the quarterly events are not enough for you, come together in small groups to discuss some of the most interesting topics that our community is facing today. Groups meet monthly and there is no commitment—come when you can! We have a happy hour roundtable at a local bar, and an early bird roundtable at great place to grab some breakfast. People come together at the roundtables and discuss some great topics— the new ballpark, health care, transportation, education, public safety and poverty are just a few examples!
